Gray grinned widely "Wow, it honestly sounds incredible. Did it cost an arms and a leg to get there?" He asked.

Freddie laughed slightly. She had never known anyone, but her dad, to refer to expensive things as costing 'an arm and a leg'. "Yeah, it was expensive." she said. "I think, mainly because it's kind of like going on a trip that could be potentially life threatening. Like going on safari, visiting a game reserve. It's a little extra because you need that health insurance in case you get hurt."

Gray chuckled "Well I already have health insurance, there's no way to get by without that. Especially in my line of work" he smiled.

"In your line of work?" Freddie was instantly curious as to what his line of work could be. A police officer? Maybe a soldier? An aircraft pilot? "What is...your line of work?"

"Oh, sorry, I guess I never told you," he said pushing his books aside signaling he enjoyed their conversation more, "I'm a firefighter."

Firefighter? Wait, did that mean he knew... Rion? Freddie, again, had very inappropriate images flashing across her mind's eye, with and without the uniform. She literally could not help it. "Oh my." she said, fanning her face slightly.

Gray raised both eyebrows in surprise by her reaction. He couldn't tell if it was a positive or negative reaction. "Thats...not A problem is it?"

Freddie raised both of her eyebrows and pursed her lips. "Well, it's your job." she said. "Not to mention, it's pretty brave. You put your life on the line, put your life in danger, to help prevent others being hurt. Or worse." she told him, nodding her head. "Props, man. I'm just a lounge pianist, like what I do helps no one. But you do."

Gray managed a small smile "I've always wanted to learn how to play Piano" he said "I've been told I have the fingers but lack the patience" he grinned, holding his hands up.

Freddie laughed a little and raised her hands, comparing them to his. Her hands were...smaller, to say the least. "I think your hands definitely have potential." she told him, her head tipping to the side as she smiled at him. "But that patience may make it difficult."

"Anyway you can teach that on the side?" He asked with a sideways grin, which, in most cases, was charming.

Freddie bit the edge of her lip, raising her eyebrow at him. She wasn't a very patient person. It was by pure luck that she just knew how to play. "I could give you a few tips, but I'm not very patient, myself." she admitted, a slight smirk on her face.

"You know, I had a small idea about that but only now do I know my suspicions were correct" he said with a smirk.

Certain things were very clear with Freddie. She didn't waste time, she didn't like people who wasted time, and she believed time was precious. She smirked slightly at Gray. "Was I that obvious?"

"How should I put his nicely..." he thought "You look like you sometimes have a stick up your a**" he said with a smirk.
