Evie's Love Interest I shall leave it in your hands to name him. Really name him whatever you like. The only strong suggestions I make are that he's one or two years older than her, and portrayed by Dylan O'Brien. I don't know, I just think they look cute together. I have a basic idea of Evie and this fellow getting along, but as friends, when she first moved to Cherry Grove. But when thinking about him in specific, he'd have asked her out, on more than one occasion, making things awkward for a bit between them. Evie isn't looking to date, she really just wants to raise her son and live her life. She's obviously wary of men because of her husband, someone who's actually still looking for her - meant to add that into her audition and forgot. She doesn't think all men are like him, but she isn't going to willingly accept a romantic relationship, despite really needing one. So, basically, the relationship between this guy and her is going to be very hot and cold, she'll be happy and laughing with him, and he'll think, yes it's the perfect time to ask her on a date, and then she shuts him down. /i] He should be a totally lovable kind of guy, the kind of guy that people would encourage her to date. A really nice guy. Obviously, he can have his own secrets, he'll probably have a few things that he's not telling her, but the biggest is probably that he'd try to make himself seem a little more important than he is. At the moment, Evie is currently lower than working class, she can't keep down a job because being a single mother always interferes, and then there's also having to create a brand new identity and somehow live without references or a bank account. He's most likely working class, himself, but in an area like Cherry Grove, he's probably witnessed how the upper class, the ones with money, get more than those without it. So, he'd maybe have a very simple job, something that entitles him to look a little bit scruffy, but have told her that he actually owns wherever he works. His personality is very down-to-earth, but probably with a bit of a complex. He feels a little hard done by, growing up, probably going to school, with these people with all of this money and having very little himself. But, he's pretty sweet and goofy, and able to make anyone laugh. This would be how he first spoke to Evie, by making her laugh. Their personalities shouldn't be identical, but they could be similar in the sense that they're both independent and self-sufficient, responsible and compassionate. He'd sort of feel like there was something she was running from and want to save her from it, and try to get her to open up to him. But for it to go horribly wrong. |
