Tristan Porter is very much your typical bad boy. He loves his motorcycle, but also drives around an '85 Mustang for Vermont winters. He has a big heart but doesn't show it that often. He's also understanding, funny, mischievous, and, in contrast to his younger sister, a little immature. Tristan is an avid fan of classic rock music. He is known to use crude humor, use pop culture references, make sexual innuendos, and indulge in pornography. He has even stated once that he does enjoy anime and Japanese animated porn. Tristan typically avoids emotional intimacy, preferring to engage with women only as sexual partners. However, he has had a few long-term relationships over the years. Tristan values his family's safety over anything else. Even though Tristan keeps himself in excellent physical shape, he is known to have very bad eating habits. He is often shown enjoying greasy, fattening or otherwise unhealthy food, especially cheeseburgers and pie, and dismisses salads as "rabbit food."
HISTORY,
Born to Amy and Mark Porter on September 23, Tristan had a relatively normal childhood. For the first 14 years of his life, he was pretty much the spoiled only child, getting the toys and video games he wanted. Even when his little sister was born, they both pretty much were his parents pride and joys. His parents were very loving, attentive and devoted to him and his younger sister Elle. They were all very close, their family was almost to go to be true. His parents both had steady careers and seemed to be living in their very own happily ever after. That is until, when he was 20, her dad got laid off from his job. In Tris' eyes, this was the beginning of the end of their life. Over the next couple of years, things got really bad and his father got into alcohol and drugs, connecting with dangerous people. It all ended in tragedy when, at 17, both his mother and father were murdered. In an effort to save his little sister and get them away from whoever had murdered their parents, Tristan moved them back to their hometown in an effort to gain back a semblance of normalcy and they've been trying to adjust ever since.
