intro
Nate is probably known around school for disappearing during the summer or for working in the local coffee shop. He’s an aspiring musician, writes his own songs and performs them at Coffee Shop Soundtrack whenever they have an open mic night. Which is basically every weekend. He’s cool and down-to-earth, he really is. He’s the kind of guy you want to be friends with, because he’s really fun to be around. However, he goes through periods of distancing himself from people and this usually happens when he hasn’t taken his medication, either because he can’t afford the prescription or the medication doesn’t have the desired effect on him. Being a teenage schizophrenic is tricky to diagnose, but it’s trickier to treat. Only Nate’s close friends know about his diagnosis. Nate used to be a super friendly boy, so he’d most likely still have a lot of friends. I’m really looking for him to have one or two close friends who know about his diagnosis and essentially keep an eye on him for his mother. |
enemies
So, giving that he’s a likable person, Nate may not have any enemies. But, that’s not saying he can’t be disliked by someone or other. He’s not really that popular but he is kind of well-known. I imagine he’s most likely gotten on the bad side of a few people, mainly the popular guys at school. |
lovers
He’s not an innocent guy, he’ll have at least had one or two sexual partners. As for any serious relationships, maybe just one but they ended things shortly after his diagnosis, because he didn’t want her to know he was mentally sick. I do imagine that he’d be quite charming though. Girls like the guy with the lip ring and the guitar, with an angel’s voice. He’s also not bad looking, so he’d maybe have girls flirting with him, trying to get his attention. This could be where he gets himself into trouble with other boys. |
