ANCIENT SCANDALS IN CHERRY GROVE
REMILLIA ELEANA HADLEY
age SEVENTEEN | gender FEMALE | GRADE ELEVENTH |
BIRTHDATE 11/04 | SEXUALITY STRAIGHT | Profession STUDENT |
PERSONALITY,
Remy is daddy’s little girl and is just like the girl next door. However, she has two different sides to her. The little princess her parents believe her to be: She’s smart, sweet and definitely the model child. And then her other side, being Miss Queen Bee: She’s sassy, fiery, and, with no other way of putting it, she’s a bitch. However, these two roles aside, Remy has lived her life having to be perfect, never being able to stray from what people want from her. She’s independent but can be a little dependent. She’s honest to a fault, will call it like it is, but knows when to lie and is very good at it. She’s had to live being two different people, to please both her parents and the friends she’s made. She’s a perfectionist and a clean freak, with a touch of OCD. No one would think that the girl with the perfect life, the wealthy family and popular friends would have any issues, however, Remy has so many that she’s scared to talk about.
HISTORY,
Remillia Hadley, born to Beckett and Ilysia Hadley was the second child brought into their little family. Beckett Hadley made every dollar his family owns and started life with very little to his name, but his family’s reputation. He was an incredibly smart man, a businessman with a keen eye for technology. He studied business and took many classes in technology development from software programming to engineering. He developed a high-tech software that is now used by multiple billion dollar companies across the country, as well as software used by the military. Beckett built a company from scratch and is now a very, very wealthy man. His wife, on the other hand, Ilysia, real name Ana, had somewhat wealthy parents. She knew money when she was born, however, she chose to marry a man as he was venturing into business with less than a nickel to his name. Ilysia was actually a child model, she took part in pageants and grew up to have a very successful modeling career. She juggles being a mother, being a model and being a wife very well. But she maintains that being a mother is the most rewarding profession. Remy’s parents have what is known as a gentleman’s family. A son born first, her older brother Roman, is nineteen and he’s currently studying to become a doctor. Remy, despite being the little princess, she has a lot to live up to, and it’s hard.
Remy was always a likable little girl. She had friends by the dozens growing up, but she soon found out that people only liked her because of her father’s money. That obviously took a toll on the poor girl’s development. She went through a period of being very secretive and lying about everything, which was shortly followed by dropping out of all of her favorite hobbies; she stopped dance and gymnastics; she stopped playing the piano; and she stopped going for horseback riding classes. This, shockingly, happened when she was about nine. Until that point, Remy had been a social little bee. Around this time, it was discovered that Remy was diabetic. However, after receiving treatment and speaking with a counselor, she fell right back into her old classes.
Remy looks older than she is and as you can imagine, it causes a lot of confusion. As well as looking older, Remy is a very mature girl, so she began acting older than she was at a young age. She engaged in relationships with older boys and soon, as well as being the popular girl, she developed a reputation for being a little snooty, bitchy and, well, easy. The first boy she ever slept with told all of his friends and by the next day, everyone at school knew about it. She was thirteen. It got around. It didn’t damage her popularity, it just meant people expected more from her. Now in high school, she’s a cheerleader - head cheerleader - and she’s a shoo-in from prom queen. She’s dating a jock, who happens to be the guy who told everyone about her sleeping with him. But her life is...perfect. So it seems.
Unfortunately, everything is not as perfect as she allows everyone to believe. Her parents are rarely ever home, so she spends most of the years with the staff her father hired. She’s very lonely, despite having dozens of ‘friends’. She craves attention from boys, to validate her need to be perfect. Her relationship with her boyfriend isn’t perfect, by any means. He’s abusive toward her, mentally, verbally and physically. And on top of that, he frequently cheats on her, which in turn, pushed her to cheat on him. Everything has to be perfect, but if isn’t, Remy lies to make sure it is. She’d never let anyone know how she truly feels. The only person who knows how she feels is her diary, which is filled with very dark and troubling entries.
On the surface, Remy Hadley is perfect. But underneath, she’s deeply troubled. She’s depressed, she’s battling issues with self-hate and abandonment. She doesn’t trust anyone, she doesn’t know who likes her for her money or who she is. Remy isn’t exactly sure who she is anymore. She’s at an age where things are very tough, but she feels like everything is monumentally worse in her situation.
