It was a sunny Saturday afternoon Alex had the idea to invite Stella for lunch if she had the time. He had the day off work though he was unaware what she had planned. He texted her and waited for a reply, he truly hoped she could make it after all he'd been thinking about her a lot and he really liked her. She wasn't like any girl he ever met before. There was so much more than her beauty that was attractive and she provided a good distraction from...other things on his mind at least for a while. (I assume they're dating?) Stella Elizabeth Gneiss

[ works for me! ]
Stella had recently gotten off work, having taken a half day, and was on her way from the hair salon to the park. Her fingers were stained here and there from the hair dye, she'd used for a customer. Apparently, the glove she'd used had a hole in it. As she strolled through the park she broke into a smile when she saw him. How could she not? He was beyond handsome and the sweetest thing she'd ever met.

(yay)
The moment his eyes landed on her he grinned that cute, boyish grin of his. That smile he only had for her. It wasn't like they rushed into a relationship, they just had an instant connection that he couldn't deny. "Hey." He walked over to greet her, taking her hand and planted a soft kiss on her cheek. He didn't notice her hands, his green eyes were focused on hers.

"Hey there stud" Stella said with a playful smile and pecked his lips in response to his kiss "Let me guess, I'm the best thing you've seen all day?" She asked raising a teasing eyebrow at him.

Alex grinned when he felt her soft mouth on his, he quickly pecked her lips. "No, you're the best thing I've seen all my life. I mean that by the way." He chuckled brushing his fingers across her cheek.

"And now your being cheesy" she grinned and crinkled her nose at him before grabbing his hand and leading him to the blanket he'd set out "Wow, this is amazing..."

Alex grinned. "Stop pretending. I know you like it when I'm being cheesy." He winked and stroked the back of her hand with his thumb. "Well, I made a snack for us. I'd like to take you out for dinner, if you'll allow me."

Stella smiled and sat down on the blanket "I'd love it. Will there be wine?"

Alex chuckled. "Of course. Anything you'd like." He sat next to her and wrapped his arm around her waist. "I'm really happy you could make it."

Stella smiled and leaned into his side "Hm, it wasn't without sacrifice" she laughed slightly and showed him her stained hands "It will take forever for this to fade away."

Alex chuckled. "I appreciate whatever sacrifice you made for me." He held her then looked at her hands then and raised an eyebrow. "Wow. Someone was busy."

Stella smiled "Mermaid hair. A fun yet annoyingly difficult new trend. I'm just happy she didn't want glitter" she laughed.

Alex grinned. "Well that certainly would have been fun." He opened the picnic basket and offered her chocolate covered strawberries.

Alex laughed. "I know. Confetti does too." He brushed her hair behind her ear and smiled. "You deserve it." His mother always told him to treat women with respect.
